Formula D @ Irwindale Speedway

I spent the entire day down at the Irwindale Speedway watching a Formula D event. I think that drifting is only in its infancy and still open to new drivers and teams. The cars are mostly Japanese imports, but some domestics are making inroads. Although they sufferend an unfortunate crash in practice that took them out of the competition for the day, BubbaDrift campains a 80's GMC El Camino. I snapped almost a thousand pictures with the new Canon S60 (a great camera by the way) and hope to have them up on the site in the next couple of days. Until then this will have to do.
